Lindsay Lohan: Another Bizarre Lawsuit Ordeal
Some people have the strangest luck, and Lindsay Lohan can certainly attest to that.
Earlier today (January 17), the ?Mean Girls? actress headed into an L.A. courtroom and faced Judge Stephanie Sautner who announced that she was pleased with the progress Lindsay?s been making during her probation.
The bizarre twist occurred just as Lohan and attorney Shawn Holley headed inside when a man named Thomas A Green served her with a lawsuit containing several delusional, unusual allegations claiming that she ?might be a high end prostitute? and possibly a part of the death of Osama bin Laden.
According to TMZ, the document?s excessive claims are extremely difficult to follow, and the incoherent arguments that Green tries to make seem to lack any real legal merit.
In recent news, Lohan attened Sunday night?s Golden Globe Awards after-party at the Beverly Hilton where she was spotted in a gorgeous, floor-length ivory dress.

Susan Lucci To Host Real Life Soap Opera Show ?Deadly Affairs?
Soap opera life will continue for Susan Lucci after all, sort of. Sorry soap fans she is not going to another show, she will be hosting “Deadly Affairs” a real life soap opera show. Yep if you thought her days in Pine Valley were crazy you haven?t seen anything yet. Susan Lucci became a household name by playing Eric Kane on the ABC soap opera All My Children. As Erica, she was involved in all sorts of drama from affairs, to corruption, to kidnapping to being married a lot. So she is used to drama. That of course was all fantasy now she is getting the chance to be a part of some real life soap opera style drama. The lovely Lucci is set to host and narrate the show ?Deadly Affairs? for Investigation Discovery. Sounds very intriguing right, well it is. The show will reportedly focus on deceptive love relationships, including love triangles and betrayal, that end badly but instead of it being fiction these stories will be fact. HGTV, LA and Dining Room Tables
I've been watching a lot of HGTV since coming to LA. My favorite shows are House Hunters and House Hunters International. There's also another show I like to watch called For Rent, but only because it makes me angry.
When it comes to apartments/homes, I think living in New York for the past eleven years has made me bitter because there was this whiny broad on For Rent a few nights ago who was looking at a huge place—A HUGE PLACE—and was like, "There's no place for a dining room table..."
B*TCH, YOU'RE LUCKY TO GET A KITCHEN IN NEW YORK.
I hated her.
Now there's some stupid lady on House Hunters who wants a townhouse with a fireplace that she can turn on with a light switch. IT HAS TO BE A LIGHT SWITCH because she doesn't want to bend down and flip a switch on the floor.
WHO DO THESE PEOPLE THINK THEY ARE?
Anyway, I know my LA update is WAY overdue (and truth be told I wrote a long one last week but for some reason it didn't save so I lost the whole thing and I was so angry that I just said, "Ah, f*ck it," and closed the computer instead of rewriting) but to give you a quick update, I AM SO HAPPY HERE. I MEAN, I'M REALLY, REALLY HAPPY. And I think living here and watching HGTV—both of these things combined—has made me realize that New York was just beating me down. I mean, the fireplace lady—yes, she's an idiot. But there's nothing wrong with wanting a dining room table. Why did I get so mad at that lady?
Since being here, at least once a day I ask myself why I have lived in New York for so long. (It's like I had Stockholm Syndrome or something.) CALIFORNIA IS AWESOME. It's like the promised land. It's sunny all the time and there are birds and flowers everywhere. I have space out here. I have a sofa on the patio out here. I HAVE A SOFA OUTSIDE. I haven't seen one rat since I've been here. But hummingbirds? THEY ZIP BY MY HEAD EVERY DAY. I am so happy.
I'm supposed to go back to New York in November, but truth be told, I'm not sure I will.

Russell Brand is "Quite Well" Following Break Up
In town to promote his new television series, Russell Brand was spotted arriving at The Langham Huntington Hotel & Spa in Pasadena, California on Sunday afternoon (January 15).
Looking to be a rather good spirits, the casually clad Brit comic was all smiles despite his December 30th split from popstar wife Katy Perry.
During a TCA panel discussion for his new gig "Strangely Uplifting," Russell was prodded about his relationship woes by reporters, to which he replied, "I'm quite well, thank you. Are you asking because of recent events?" he chuckled. "Well, I suppose what you're doing is you're making the mistake as seeing time as linear."
As for his latest project, Brand's hope is quite simple, as he explained, "All I want is for people to feel better than they do now. That's all I want. All I want is to make people laugh and to make people happy. And as long as I stay in alignment with that, then I'm served by great forces."

Nicole Kidman & Clive Owen's TCA Team-Up
Teaming up to promote their television effort, Nicole Kidman and Clive Owen took center stage at HBO's Winter 2012 TCA Panel in Pasadena, California on Friday evening (January 13).
Held at the Langham Hotel, the co-stars were also joined by Director Philip Kaufman while talking with press about their upcoming HBO movie titled "Hemingway & Gellhorn".
Discussing her role of Martha in the production, Miss Kidman said, ?She was the first female, really, war correspondent? and she wrote with such direct truth? and that is so hard to do. She?s not Hemingway, she doesn?t want to write novels, she wants to be a correspondent and I love that she was the first woman to do that? She was a trailblazer.?
With a sneak peek available below, "Hemingway & Gellhorn" is set to premiere of HBO this May.
